Their pieces are cut from flat sheets of steel and have a protective powder coated finish. The sculpture hangs 1 1/2 inches off the wall giving it a unique, three dimensional shadow effect that sets it apart from traditional two dimensional art such as paintings and wall hangings. The protective powder coat makes the sculpture suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

Backer Art Enterprises, LLC is a company that has been doing business since 1994. We are family run and our artwork is made in the USA. Richard and his son, Dan, originally operated the business from the family garage in East Stroudsburg, PA. In 1995, they expanded the metal fabrication business. Within 5 years, the business had grown to the point where an airport hangar of 6,000 square feet was required to handle the designing, fabricating and distribution of their metal art wall sculptures. HANGING INSTRUCTIONS FOR OUR METAL WALL ART
Our metal wall art pieces include all of the hardware you'll need to hang your metal wall art. The 1 1/2" post screws on the back of the metal sculpture and holds it off the wall. This is how it works:
Screw the post and washer into the top studs.
The post without the washer screws onto the bottom studs.
Place the sculpture on the wall and mark the center hole of the post with the washer on the top studs.
Insert 2 finishing nails into the wall and leave 1/4" exposed.
Hang sculpture on nails.
That's all there is to it - super easy to hang Backer wall art!
